The proofWhat runs at Athena Towing
Athena Towing is a working tow company in Athens, Georgia, and it's where every Deadhead Labs system is built and run first.
The phones
The main line rings the crew first. When nobody can pick up, an AI dispatcher answers, gets the vehicle and location, quotes the job from the shop's rates, and hands it over. Customers can text for a quote too. Watchdogs flag dead air and phones that keep missing calls.
Motor-club billing
GEICO dispatches are matched to the job in Towbook, the return-trip miles are calculated from the real addresses, charges are checked, and the invoice is submitted. Swoop runs the same way. Alerts are based on days left before an invoice voids — so the ones that matter get attention.
Payroll
Every Monday, driver commissions are calculated from the week's jobs using the shop's real rules — per-driver rates, a dispatcher fee on certain calls, and gone-on-arrival pay. The result is a payout plan the owner reviews and approves.
The crew
The driver roster syncs from the dispatch software every day, so new drivers are never missing from the call rotation, and the owner gets daily digests of what came in and what was missed.
The numbers
Jobs feed reporting on revenue per mile and call mix, the books are built from the real bank feed, and completed paid tows go back to Google Ads as conversions.
What it took
None of this worked perfectly the first time. Motor-club portals change, phone carriers behave in surprising ways, and pay rules have exceptions nobody wrote down. Every one of those lessons is now a test or a guardrail — which is the part a new client gets for free.
The territory promise
We don't take on towing companies that compete with Athena Towing in the Athens, Georgia market.
